Menu for the Week

Tuesday Breakfast

Mixed fruit compote with yoghurt, toast and coffee

Fruit compote is a delicious, nutritious alternative breakfast idea.

To make a compote put about a pound of dried fruit - apricots, peaches, pineapple, apple, prunes and pears in a pan. Cover with water and simmer slowly until the fruit is tender. Store in the fridge. Serve alone or with yoghurt, on top of cereals or you could try it as a dessert.
