Please remember it may take a few days for new nominations appear, especially around the time of British Bank Holidays.

We've found in the past that we have had to reject a few of the nominations we have received. Below are the main reasons for this:

• The product wasn't actually vegetarian (eg. soup, readymeals, meat/fish substitute categories)

• You didn't give us enough information to find it (eg. pub, cafe, categories)

• Your nomination didn't fit the criteria for the category (eg it's readymeal retailer, not a particular ready-meal)

• You entered several nominations on one form (we only accept the first one in this case)

• You voted more than once for the same category (we only accept the first one in this case)

• You nominated a product that was already vegetarian (imperfect world category)

• Your nomination was too generalised when we asked for a specific product (imperfect world category)
