GET SET FOR BBQ TIME

With British summers being so unpredictable you simply can't wait for a sunny day and, then decide to have a BBQ. By the time you've planned what to have, got the kids ready, got to the shops, found everything you need and got back, the weather could have changed!

Take a tip from the experts at the Cordon Vert Cookery School and get organised so that you can make the most of any sunshine!

Make the most of your fridge and freezer. Freeze rolls, ready sliced in two, your favourite veggie sausages/burgers or make your own and freeze, frozen corn on cob, experiment with making your favourite marinades/dressings and freeze ready to use - try using ice cube trays to freeze small amounts.

Make sure you have your favourite relishes in the cupboard.

Keep in a packet of wooden skewers or invest in some metal ones. Also have coals and firelighters in the shed and, obviously a BBQ.!.

Then for a really quick, unplanned BBQ. all you need is salad from your fridge and some vegetables to make kebabs and you're there. A simple, quick, and no fuss BBQ.

For more ideas and inspiration we’ve gathered together all our BBQ recipes for you to try! (see the link at the foot of the page)

Enjoy!
