Tina Fox, previously CEO of the Society, invites vegetarians to join her aboard The Black Watch, for a gourmet vegetarian experience. Aboard this truly world-class cruise ship, guests will feel a warm welcome from the first moment. The ship has large windows, elegant décor, broad teak decks, generous promenades, bright, unconfined public areas and roomy cabins (over 90% of them offering sea view). With just 435 cabins she is a vessel designed with an exceptionally generous ratio of ship to passenger and it is always easy to find a quiet corner. Tina has got together with Fred Olsen and Didsbury Travel Worldchoice
to arrange some special benefits for vegetarians: *Provided there is a minimum of 30 passengers, Fred Olsen Cruises will arrange for each night of the cruise a special menu including vegan options, overseen personally by Tina Fox in place of the normal two vegetarian choices. Tina will not be receiving any payment for this project; as many members know she is very interested in ensuring that vegetarians travelling receive the same benefits as any other passenger or holidaymaker and she hopes to develop this area of interest in her new found leisure time. Although this is an independently organised cruise, a generous donation will be paid to The Vegetarian Society by Didsbury Travel Worldchoice for every booking made.
