INGREDIENTS:
BUTTER OR MARGARINE
11/2TBSP GOLDEN OR MAPLE SYRUP
l TSP MIXED SPICE
6 KIWI FRUIT, SKINNED AND CUT INTO CHUNKS
34Og (l2oz) STRAWBERRIES, WASHED
6 KEBAB SKEWERS
CREAM OR SOYA CREAM TO SERVE

METHOD:
1. Gently heat the butter or margarine with the syrup and mixed spice.
2. Thread the slices of kiwi fruit
and strawberries alternately onto the kebab skewers. Brush with the syrup
mixture.
2. Grill over hot coals for 5-10
minutes, turning and basting occasionally until starting to colour.
4. Serve immediately with cream.
Alternatively, fruit such as mango,
pear, pineapple or melon can be used. |
