Vegetarians
don’t eat fish, but they do enjoy one of the healthiest diets
around.
A balanced vegetarian diet easily reaches the government’s
recommended five portions of fruit and vegetables every day, while
also including plenty of complex carbohydrates, protein, vitamins and
minerals. Omega 3 fatty acids are found in rapeseed oil, flax seeds
and walnuts as well as (in smaller amounts) eggs and whole milk. Vegetarians
who particularly want to boost their Omega 3 intake can choose algae
or flax seed oil supplements.
