Young Veggie Green Ticket Offer

To celebrate and promote the release of our newest publication, Young Veggie, the Vegetarian Society and our Cordon Vert School are offering free places on our Kids in the Kitchen cookery course to five lucky young people aged 16 and under.

Prize-winning green tickets will be randomly placed in copies of Young Veggie to be found by lucky booklet recipients. Members of the public are invited to contact the Vegetarian Society to request their free copy of Young Veggie and try their luck at winning a place on the Kids in the Kitchen cookery course.

Terms and conditions

• This offer is organised solely by the Vegetarian Society.

• The Kids in the Kitchen cookery course will take place at 9am in August (date to be confirmed) at the Cordon Vert School, The Vegetarian Society, Parkdale, Dunham Road, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 4QG.

• Participation on the Kids in the Kitchen Cookery course is restricted to young people between aged 16 and under with one accompanying adult whose attendance is also complimentary.

• Winners must be based within the United Kingdom.

• Prize winners must be accompanied by an adult on the day of the course.

• All expenses incurred in relation to the prize, including travel to and from the Vegetarian Society’s Cordon Vert School in Altrincham, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner and the accompanying adult.

• Winners must confirm their place on the course, either by calling or emailing the Vegetarian Society using the contact information provided on the winning ticket.

• The prize is not transferrable to other Cordon Vert School courses.

• In the unlikely event that the course needs to be unexpectedly cancelled, a replacement date for the course will be offered.

• The Vegetarian Society will not be liable for any expenses already incurred by participants in the event of course cancellation.

• Should the prize winner be unable to attend the course after confirming a place, the Vegetarian Society requests being notified of the cancellation as a courtesy via the contact information given below.

• Prize winners who must cancel their attendance on the course will not be offered an alternative placement.

• Any food allergies or special dietary requirements must be advised at time of claiming a place on the course.

• Prize winners will be announced in general publicity for the Young Veggie publication and Cordon Vert School.

• Prize winners will be announced in various Vegetarian Society publications.

• Prize winners agree to take part in any publicity related to the offer, and the Vegetarian Society reserves the right to use the names and images of prize winners in this publicity.

• Any personal data supplied to the Vegetarian Society will only be used in conjunction with the offer and will be held in accordance with our Data Protection policy.

• The offer is not open to staff and Trustees of the Vegetarian Society, members of their immediate family, or members of their household.

• All prize winners agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this offer.
