Local Contacts for The Vegetarian Society

The Vegetarian Society has a two-tier system of local representatives: Affiliated Groups and Information Centres. Information Centres marked with a * are trying to grow into groups, and those marked ** are actually small groups, so please contact them if you are interested in joining. Business Display Info Centres have our literature and information available for their customers and visitors but do not usually put on events
Please remember that all groups and information centres are run by volunteers and are entirely self-funded. If you contact any, please include a stamp for return postage.

Some of our Affiliated Groups specialise in catering for parents with young children whilst others have a sub section or e-group

Birmingham Vegetarians & Vegans

• BVV's Parent's and Children's Group
The group will meet once a month at Rooty Frooty, Unit 17, The Custard Factory, Gibb Street, Digbeth, Birmingham B9 4AA (0121 224 8458) 1 - 3 p.m. Admission Free.Children's activities and vegan and vegetarian food available to buy from

Norfolk and Norwich

• We are looking to start an informal support group for parents of babies and young children that are being brought up Vegetarian or Vegan in the Norfolk and Norwich Area. Thames Valley Veggie Kids

• An informal group associated with our affiliated group Thames Valley Vegans and Vegetarians, contact Sophie Fenwick or Stephen Paul. Tel: 0118 9464858. No age range, "bumps" are welcome and meetings for older children could be arranged if there's a demand.

VegParentsSE

• This e-group is run by Lesley Dove of our Twickenham & Surrey Vegetarian & Vegan Group but covers the South-east generally. Lesley is especially keen to contact other vegetarian and vegan families in the area (Hampton, TW12 and surrounding areas). We have not had any regular meetings but will be happy to organise with anyone who is interested!
