Youth Contacts

As well as having a network of affiliated groups and information
centres, the Society also has a number of youth contacts. As they may
be aged between 12 and 25, obviously there will be a lot of variation
in their interests and the areas they can cover, but they will be doing
things like starting
a Young Vegetarians Group, campaigning for better veggie choices in
their school canteen, asking teachers to organise a talk or video
about vegetarianism, taking leaflets and posters out to
local
libraries, youth clubs etc, producing a newsletter for other vegetarians
at school or college or creating their own websites. |
Becoming a Youth Contact
You need to be between 12 and 25 and either a member of the Society,
a junior member or be included on a family membership with your parents.
