Kid's stuff - veggie bangers in the hole
Kids love bangers and burgers and there are a huge range of ready
prepared veggie sausages and burgers available.
There are also packet mixes which are really versatile; why not try making veggie
scotch eggs with some Sosmix?
Or this simple idea:
Take 4 veggie sausages, make a smooth batter using 170g / 6oz wholewheat
flour, 1 free-range egg, 4tbsp water and a dash of milk.
Heat a little oil in a 450g / 1lb loaf tin in a very hot oven until smoking.
Carefully put the sausages in the tin and pour the batter over them, reduce
the heat and then cook at 220°C/425°F/Gas Mark 7 for 30 minutes.
Delicious!
