is so lucky to have such wonderful and committed members... yes, you guessed
it, I'm after something! I wondered how you'd feel about adopting your worst local caterer and encouraging them to 'refresh' their menu! The idea is that if they improve their standards then all other caterers will be encouraged to raise quality and choice too. You don¹t have to do it all yourself - we have many Vegetarian Society approved manufacturers willing to help caterers. Major International have sample packs of their approved concentrated vegetable stocks and a new vegetarian recipe leaflet they are willing to send out to caterers. Even meateaters become concerned when you tell them their weekend tipple is made from the extract of pigs, cows and tropical fish!
