Annesley	The Catering People (in house caterers for a Powergen unit) are planning to improve their choice for vegetarians, introduce a deli bar veggie special of the day and give out information to those interested.
Mapperley Park	One of our members is organising a luncheon party during the week, friends will be invited along to prepare their favourite vegetarian recipes, which will be collected for a cook book. Invitation only.
Nottingham	PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals May 19: Noon to 1pm, St Peter's Square, a sexy "mermaid" will kick off National Vegetarian Week by dishing up free samples of Redwood's new, vegan faux-fish delicacies to Nottingham's hungry lunch-time crowd. Products include faux tuna, fish steaks, scampi and smoked salmon pate. PETA volunteers will accompany the mermaid with a sign saying "Don't batter me"!
