Evesham Asparagus Festival, Workman Gardens, Evesham
May 25 & 26: 10am-5pm, promoting awareness of asparagus and how easy and versatile it is. Trade stands, asparagus restaurant, asparagus BBQ (just asparagus and dips), educational info, cookery demos. 17 May: we'll be holding a street collection and recipe giveaway in Kidderminster town centre to promote the National Vegetarian Week Seven-Day Veggie Challenge!!! To join us, call 07759 834732.

18 May: See in National Vegetarian Week 2003 in style with a spring barbecue sponsored by FRY'S Special Vegetarian Products. 4pm, Quakers Meeting House gardens, Lower Park, Bewdley.
