Welcome
Thank you for visiting the National Vegetarian Week section of our website.

National Vegetarian Week aims to let everyone know how easy and tasty a veggie diet can be. Anyone and everyone is welcome to get involved. From individual members of the public through to supermarkets, health food stores, bookstores, schools, food producers, restaurants, fitness centres and caterers.

Organised and co-ordinated by The Vegetarian Society, a registered educational charity, National Vegetarian Week remains the most successful way for the Society to raise its public profile and promote the vegetarian diet. Follow the links to find out how National Vegetarian Week originated, how you can be involved and what opportunities there are for you to join in the week.

This year's National Vegetarian Week was:

Monday 19th to Sunday 25th May 2003!

the theme was
