May 24: 7.30pm, Party at Pizza Express, 56 St Marys Butts, Reading RG1 2LG. Pizza Express are putting on a special buffet to mark the Week, with vegan pizzas made with Redwoods melting Mozzarella Cheezly, Cheatin Pepperoni, vegetarian "tuna" and so on. Also dairy-free deseerts and ice-cream. £10, advance booking necessary. A few free tasting places for journalists. Dress code - bright colours essential, a vegetable-theme if you can wangle it!
Pizza Express will be putting on extra veggie options all National Vegetarian Week if you can't make the party.

May 24-28: Cedar Room/Blue Room. There will be a special menu of vegetarian sandwich filling in the Sandwich Baguette Shop, a breakfast special roll and a special veggie lunch time menu in the Blue Room. (Staff and students only)
