City Cafe Restaurants will be demonstrating their commitment to vegetarian food with the launch of a special garden menu to celebrate National Vegetarian Week. The full garden menu showcases each chef's culinary skills and uses only the finest seasonal ingredients - this is not just an occasional meat-free adaptation but an exciting and tasty range of choices for vegetarians; dishes that are low in fat and calories are indicated with a heart symbol for health-conscious diners. Typical dishes will include - wild mushroom croyvettes with cranberry, pear & mint relish; sweet pea and mint soup; open ravioli with roasted Mediterranean vegetable ragout or twice baked goats cheese souffle with roast pear and plum compote.
