'ELEPHANT WALK' a restaurant in North West London specialising in Sri Lankan and South Indian food will be putting on their menu a range of different vegetarian dishes daily. During the Raj, the British Tea Planters introduced some British vegetables to Sri Lanka, Ceylon as it was then known. Green Cabbage stir fried with coconut, Beetroot and Potato Kari, Green Beans Kari, Swede Kari, Turnip Kari are karies inspired by cooks in Planters bungalows. In addition, there will be some unusual exotic karies like Breadfruit kari, Drumstick and Potato kari, Pumpkin kari, Aubergene kari and Green Banana kari on the menu.
