• Order a copy of our new leaflet Food for Thought for
a friend who is thinking about going veggie.
• Talk to your friends about National Vegetarian Week, carry a few of the
NVW postcards around in case any express an interest in
obtaining
more information.
• Encourage your veggie friends to join
The Vegetarian Society and support our work.
• Invite a non-vegetarian friend or two round to your home for a meal.
Why not cook some or all the National Vegetarian
Week recipes?
• If you take your lunch in a large works canteen, then order
a copy of Serving Vegetarians - A Guide for the Catering Industry to pass on
to the Catering Manager. (Available April)
• Talk to your local cafe/restaurant/pub and ask them to put on
a special veggie meal for the Week. Mention that they can get free publicity
in our online diary.
• Encourage local business to display our poster and postcards or to take
a
look
at
our NVW
Business Opportunities.
• Take some veggie food into work to share with your colleagues.
•Challenge a non-veggie friend to
go veggie for the Week, organise sponsorship and raise money
for the
Society.
• Download the NVW logo as wallpaper for your computer monitor
