Food. We will be encouraging carnivorous diners to choose from the
alternative vegetarian menu - choices include Chana puree (chickpeas
with puff bread), Sabzi Chamon Bahar
(spiced mixed veg with bananas or vegetarian pakora made with potatoes,
mangoes and chillies). The house menu includes vegetarian and non vegetarian
dishes to suit Eastern and Western palates and experienced staff are
on hand to office advice and recommondations.

Every school in Fife is taking part in National Vegetarian Week (160 primary
schools, 25 high schools). We're having completely vegetarian menus, giving
the children questionnaires to find out what their favourites are and we'll
try and incorporate those into our next set of menus. Lots of schools are
having fun days, green days to encourage healthy eating etc. |

with a Vegetarian Cookery Evening at Pillars of Hercules, Falkland
on Thursday 24 May from 7.30 - 9.30. The Tay Veggies will be offering
samples and recipes for a variety of easily prepared dishes and explaining

Home Economic Dept. will have at least one period of information regarding
vegetarianism. We aim to discuss the moral and ethical issues; what
is a vegetarian?; dietary requirements of a vegetarian; foods that are
suitable for vegetarians and advice for anyoen thinking of becoming a
vegetarian.
