Walking
the Cleveland Way
A
veggie/vegan family, Jo and Tim Austin, Jo's sister Ann Casey (and
one omnivorous brother) are celebrating National Vegetarian Week by
walking
the Cleveland
Way.
This is a 106
mile trek across the North Yorkshire moors to the coast. It takes in
Helmsley, Kilburn, Osmotherly, Chopgate, Great Ayton, Saltburn, Staithes,
Whitby, Boggle Hole, Scarborough and ends at Filey, from 21st
May to 1st June. They will be equipped with Veg Soc t-shirts and are hoping
to find some National Vegetarian Week events taking place in the vicinity!

Soyaella will be launched at the Leeds Metropolitan University restaurants and
will hopefully become part of the regular menu from the 21st of May. There will
also be a Kemsoy Starter Pack, a Kemsoy Gift Hamper, and some Kemsoy Cookery
Cards to give away to the lucky winners during my events at the Leeds Metropolitan
University on the 21st and 22nd of May. |

May 20: Kick off National Vegetarian Week with a visit
to Hope Pastures (Horse and Donkey Sanctuary) Open Day. Leeds Veggies
and Vegans will
be providing a food stall and there will also be kids' entertainment,
lots of stalls and workshops and a raffle. The Sanctuary is on Weetwood
