Hello!
For National Vegetarian Week I was
in school, but I couldn't help but
celebrate 3 years of being a vegetarian! So all week I am carrying
round a
spring onion to show how vegetables should be a main part of your
life
style - I have worn it on my jumper, carried it around - I had
to play cricket
with it! I have handed them out to fellow veggies too, so everyone
will know
what special week it is! I have been getting many weird looks!
Maybe I
should dress as a carrot next year...

I would
like to thank the Vegetarian Society for all it's help with
our event to celebrate National Vegetarian Week. The events have
gone really well, we have
had food tasting in the Adult Library courtesy of Sainsbury's
and organic fruit tasting for children courtesy of the Farmers
City Market. Our Vegetarian recipe competition closes on
the
27th and we have had a great response so far. I have attached
a couple of photos to show what we have been doing.
Once again thank you for all your help in making our event such
a success.

Hi
Here's a couple of piccies
of the café’s
Vegweek leaflets and our monkey. We’re shut today and Friday,
but there have been lots of people trying all the free samples.
The café is
going to start doing pepperoni pizza now too!!

Kesgrave Wives Group |
Thank you for the brochures sent to Kesgrave Wives Group.
I have attached a couple of photos of some of our members enjoying
the chance to share either our favourite vegetarian receipes or to
try out a new dish on our friends. Unfortunately it was a rainy evening
and we had to hold our meeting indoors but in spite of that we thoroughly
enjoyed ourselves and will probably be holding a similar event in
the future. Your lovely brochures gave the evening a little more
substance - thanks.
