May 18: Social Event. 12-3pm, Tees Valley Veggies & Vegans (Tees Veg)
are inviting people to join them at The Waiting Room
Restaurant, Station Road, Eaglescliffe on Sunday 18th May from 12-3pm. The friendly local social
group, formed in June 2005, has members from across Teesside and the surrounding
areas (Hartlepool, Billingham, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Redcar & Cleveland,
Darlington, North Yorkshire etc) and welcomes anyone interested in joining
them. They meet every month; eating out and meeting up for coffee and bigger
events are planned for the summer months. Come and meet them in the back
room of Eaglescliffe's veggie restaurant (a minute's walk from Eaglescliffe
Train Station) So whether you want to have a meal, a cuppa or just find
out more about vegetarianism or the group do please come along. For more

Veg also meet every 3rd Monday of the month for coffee at Starbucks in

always looking at ways to promote a healthier lifestyle which a majority
of these young people would otherwise have very little knowledge of,
therefore I think this would be an excellent promotion to advertise
in our canteen to encourage if not make them aware of an alternative
balanced diet

the duration of National Vegetarian Week. 'Pizza Al Taglio' is a new eatery
selling traditionally made Italian pizza slices. It's Italian owned using
authentic family recipes - The team includes strict veggies and as a result
