Manchester	8th Day Cafe Oxford Road, Manchester May 22: 7-8pm, Delia Schmelia, original Performance Poetry by Dominic Berry.£4 /£2 concessions including a prize raffle. Dominic Berry is a slam winning poet, regularly performing on the Manchester scene. Last year he was an 'at home' artist in residence at Contact Theatre, creating the poetry night club Lovely Fruit salad. In February 2008, Dominic made his directing debut with Crow of Murders, a poetry installation that featured twenty of Manchester's best poetic voices.Now co-host of greenroom's monthly spoken word open mic, Freed Up, Dominic's work has taken him to London's Duckies as well as Berlin's Fuel at Schokoladen and Cafe Wonderbar. Salford	Adullam Homes Housing Association Ltd (Supported Housing) Liberty House, 100 George Street South, Salford, M7 4PQ We are asupported housing project for young homeless people. As part of our work we run regular cooking sessions with the young people so, as part of NVW we're trying to organise a veggie food cooking session with the young people we work with, and invite a few other agencies and professionals along to to try the food and do some networking while they/we eat.
Stalybridge	Copley High School Huddersfield Rd, Stalybridge, Tameside, SK15 3RR Theme for the Week and 5 Thoughts for the Day will all focus on Vegetarianism. Form Tutor activities will provide information, access to websites and videos will provoke discussion and there will be competitions for pupils. School Council are working with the canteen to promote a variety of vegetarian tasters and there will be more vegetarian alternatives on offer. PSHE lessons will further investigate personal, ethical, health an environmental reasons for people to become vegetarians. We are organising some fun stuff too including a quiz , fruit and vegetable lookalikes, come in to see what is happening in store and bring any pictures you have of fruit and veg which resemble something else or someone famous ( the sillier the better!) We are also holding a competition, We would love all you Lush fans to make and give in to us some lovely art in the form of a mood board which represents what being vegetarian means to you and how Lush fits in with this, We will give a prize out to the one we like the most!
