The Covent Garden, London, branch of Lush will be doing something extra special for National Vegetarian Week. On Wednesday 20th May, the Vegetarian Society Approved makers of fresh, handmade cosmetics will be holding a free fresh face mask workshop between 6 and 8pm at their Covent Garden store. However, this workshop is already fully booked, so they are going to run another one on 27th May.

They promise to be a great, hands-on experience and an opportunity to try some fresh Lush products. There will also be complimentary refreshments.

Simon Rimmer of Greens Restaurant, West Didsbury, will be taking part in a Festival of Food and Wine which runs from Sunday 17th - Monday 25th May 2009 at Jesmond Dene House, Newcastle upon Tyne.
