having a stall at the Veggie Pride event in Birmingham, Victoria square
(in front of the town hall and
a short
walk
from New Street
Station). 10a-6pm. The event includes many stalls,
a parade 1-2pm, and entertainment from 11am.

Food. In our village we have converted what used to be our village shop
and Post Office into a meeting place called Dorstone Front Room. Here villagers
can borrow books and tapes, use the computer and fax and have a cup of
tea or coffee and home made cake. The proprietor of Haie Barn (vegetarian
B&B) is hosting a Vegetarian Brunch to show what can be done with limited
facilities to
produce
vegetarian
goodies
which all can enjoy. Money donated for the food eaten will be given to
WhizKids, an organisation which provides custom made wheelchairs for young
people |

ideas too. Hope to introduce 1 or 2 new dishes as well throughout the 2 weeks |

which our west indian
dishes are the most popular and well known. we also have at least six vegetarian
dishes on at any time and can cater for vegans as our food is freshly cooked
and we keep a supply of dairy alternatives in stock to enable us to convert vegetarian
dishes to vegan where possible. |
