Press office
Whether you are working in online, print or broadcast media, the Vegetarian Society can add to your story by providing expertise.
As the first vegetarian society in the world, our press office has experience and ideas, is able to comment and provide facts, has lots of luscious recipes and is happy to add to debates and discussions.
We cover a wide range of topics, including health, the environment, the treatment of animals, food and nutrition, the history of vegetarianism and the ethical choices vegetarians make.
In addition, we have a library of high quality food photography (free to use). Our cookery school, Cordon Vert, is packed with culinary knowledge and experienced cookery demonstrators.
Contact the press office for quotes, information and images or to arrange live or pre-recorded discussion, debate, phone-in or advice for your TV or radio programme.
