Local network section:
Support for our local network
The Vegetarian Society offers plenty of support to our official local contacts.
Contacts receive: a regular newsletter, information sheets, an exclusive email discussion list, supplies of leaflets, access to our information services, publicity on our website and in our magazine, and social networking sites – and more.
Fill in the starter pack request form to find out more.
Your help can make a difference
Our groups urgently need active people who care about animals, human health and the environment, and who want to help spread the message. Your help can make a great difference to local campaigns, even if you can only spare a few hours a month, or a day or two for seasonal campaigns. To find your local network contact, please use the contacts lists to find your nearest Group or Info Centre.
If there is no group or contact in your area, you might be interested in starting up a Group or Information Centre yourself.
(Please note that this is for UK residents only, and you will need to be a Vegetarian Society member and over 18 in order to become an official Local Contact.)
If you don't wish to start a group yourself, but would like to be involved if a new group does get going in your area, fill in the Link Up List form.
Existing vegetarian/vegan groups
Existing groups in the UK are welcome to affiliate to the Vegetarian Society and get an entry in our online directory.
Please fill in the form for information.
