Looking for a speaker?
The Vegetarian Society maintains a register of vegetarian speakers and cookery demonstrators in the United Kingdom. With about 150 spread around the country, the chances are high that we can help you find a speaker or demonstrator for your meeting or event. Some of the contacts on our list are professional chefs or trainers and would require a fee for their services, but many others ask only for expenses.
If you are looking for a speaker for your organisation, please complete the form below. We'll search our register and post-out a print-out with all the details you'll need to make contact.
Please note: Our list is not selective; it includes everyone on our register who will give a talk on some aspect of vegetarianism, or give a vegetarian cookery demonstration. Individuals will have varying interests and skills and may concentrate on different specialist areas. You should check that they can cover the topics you are interested in before making the booking.
Not all speakers and demonstrators are members of the Vegetarian Society and should not be considered representatives of the charity. We offer this list in good faith and make every effort to keep it up-to-date, but can accept no responsibility for the standard of service provided by independent speakers and demonstrators included on the list
The Vegetarian Society does not request CRB checks or use the Independent Safeguarding Authority register for volunteer speakers. Most have no experience in managing behaviour. So if children or vulnerable adults will be attending your event, you must ensure that a responsible member of your staff or organisation will be present throughout the talk.
We can only help you find a speaker in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland).
