Every year the Vegetarian Society receive about 100 requests from the media, specifically looking for help from vegetarians. This might be for an upcoming TV programme, a radio debate or a contribution to a magazine article. You can see the current requests we have, or volunteer with us as a media representative or for case studies.

Speaker application form
The Vegetarian Society maintains a register of freelance and voluntary vegetarian speakers and cookery demonstrators in the UK. When we receive a request from an organisation such as a youth club, Women's Institute, school or college, we help match them up to a suitable speaker who lives within reasonable travelling distance.
If you would like to become a speaker and/or demonstrator please complete the form below and a member of staff will contact you within a few days. We will need to ask you additional questions and you may need to attend one of our free training days.
If you are already on our Speakers and Cookery Demonstrators List you may use this form to inform us about any changes to your address or other details.
If you have any questions please email network@vegsoc.org
Please note: we can only accept speakers who live in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Channel Isles or the Isle of Man.
You should be over 18 before you join our list.
