email: snowvegsoc@makessense.co.uk web: www.veggiesnow.org
This is an informal worldwide Veggie Snow Club, to link vegan and vegetarian skiers and snowboarders together and get them the information they need for good food in the snow. Our website lists veggie- and vegan-friendly places to eat and stay in the snow. We arrange vegan snow trips and tell you about other vegan and veggie snow holidays that you can join.
We provide an on-line detailed catering guide and recipes for chalet and hotel companies in the snow, to help them provide for hungry clients with special diets. We offer free help and advice by email and phone to help them improve their vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free offerings to widen their client base.

Veg With M{.}E{.}:
Hilary Ball, Tel/fax: 01889 507 274.
email: hilary.dp@virgin.net
Veg With M{.}E{.} was started in 2009 and is exclusively for vegetarians and vegans who suffer from ME and/or MCS and have little or no social contact due to the severity of the illness. Hopefully Veg With M{.}E{.} will provide a contact point for veg*ns who are bed and housebound as there does not appear to be anything out there for us. Please bear in mind that I am a severe sufferer of both ME and MCS amongst other things when you are trying to contact me. Thank you.

Local Contacts for the Vegetarian Society
The Vegetarian Society has a two-tier system of local representatives: Affiliated Groups and Information (Info) Centres.
Information Centres marked with a * are trying to grow into groups, so please contact them if you are interested in joining.
Please remember that all Groups and Info Centres are run by volunteers and are entirely self-funded. They welcome enquiries from individuals interested in joining their group or attending an event, or enquiries about local vegetarian facilities, but if you are looking for our printed materials, please order them from the resources pages rather than ask a local contact to post them to you. Likewise, please do not "spam" all our local contacts with general or technical enquiries.
Students looking for help with course work on vegetarianism can find information here.
If you wish to circulate news of a relevant event please contact local@vegsoc.org so we can pass it on via our newsletter or e-list.
