The Vegetarian Society Political Programme

One of The Vegetarian Society’s key aims for the future is to secure a legally enforceable definition for the word ‘vegetarian’. We are working with members of the Westminster, European and devolved parliaments; with the Food Standards Agency; with other vegetarian and vegan organisations and with the food industry to bring about change in this vital area.
