New Chief Executive Appointed at The Vegetarian Society The Vegetarian Society is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Annette Pinner as Chief Executive. Annette, from Hale, takes over the role following the recent retirement of Tina Fox who led the Society for 11 years. Annette
comes to The Vegetarian Society – one of the few national
charities based outside of London - from The Environment Agency. There,
she was Area Manager for Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire
for seven years. Furthermore, Annette will manage a 25-strong team of staff based at The Vegetarian Society headquarters, Parkdale, in Altrincham, Cheshire. Her position will also see her as the key representative of the Society’s 14,000 members and teams of volunteer local groups. Speaking following her appointment, Annette said: “I am looking forward to further developing the many accomplishments of the Society.
