Best Farmers Market for Vegetarians Award

Farmers markets across the UK are being applauded with the launch of a new award from The Vegetarian Society – the Best Farmers Market for Vegetarians. Nominations are now open so make sure that your favourite fabulous farmers market is represented. Go to www.vegsoc.org/awards to make your nomination.

Does your favourite farmers market have fantastic, fresh produce? Is there a wide variety of veggie products on sale that had been grown, brewed, pickled, baked, smoked or processed locally? Are the stall holders helpful and aware of what is suitable for vegetarians?

The top five nominees will be judged by an expert panel. Closing date for all nominations is 2nd July.

All nominations will be vetted to ensure they meet the standards of The Vegetarian Society before being presented to the judging panel.
