Take a walk on the wild side with a fungus foray
Take a walk on the wild side with the Cordon Vert’s Fungus Foray 12-14 October. The weekend covers how to safely identify mushrooms before striking out into the countryside to gather them. Foragers are then guided by an experienced Cordon Vert tutor through preparation, and finally the eating of the results! Find out more about the Fungus Foray by calling 0161 925 2000 or by visiting www.vegsoc.org/cordonvert The foray will be guided by Dr Patrick Harding, author of the best selling book ‘How to Identify Edible Mushrooms’ (and a vegetarian). Patrick will also give two illustrated talks on the marvellous qualities of this fascinating group of organisms. Fungus Foray is just one of the many exciting, informative and delicious leisure courses that the Cordon Vert school has throughout the year.
