| August 2007 Season to Taste with the Cordon Vert Cookery School
Wanting to eat greener and support your local economy and farmers? Call 0161 925 2000 and get hold of a free recipe collection created by the Cordon Vert Cookery School. The full colour recipe collection entitled Season to Taste features thirteen savoury recipes packed with seasonal delights – one for each month plus a bonus. Try October’s – Carrot, Red Lentil and Sesame Bites served with a sweet chilli sauce to dip into. Or how about November’s – Chestnut and Pumpkin Seed Croustade Cups with Butternut Squash and Cranberry Jus. Recipe development is only one of Cordon Vert’s many activities. The school has a programme of exciting, informative and delicious leisure courses throughout the year. Coming up are a Fungus Foray Weekend, a Hot and Spicy Workshop, a Christmas Lunch Menu Workshop, a Culinary Adventure on Route 66 or an exotic Casablanca Workshop.
