Chips, pies, pizza - how does your sports venue do veggie?

Calling all sports fans! The Vegetarian Society wants to find the best sports venue for veggies. From grass roots level to national stadiums, the Society wants to hear from you. To nominate your favourite sports venue for veggies go to www.vegsoc.org, nominations close 7 December.

Su Taylor, spokesperson for The Vegetarian Society said, “We understand that whatever your sport, be it football, rugby, tennis, athletics, darts or curling, it’s not all about the food, and that there’s nothing better than enjoying a big bag of chips on a cold night before a game. But we also want to recognise and reward a stadium, event arena or ground where a bit more effort has been made to accommodate us sport loving veggies.”

The Vegetarian Society’s Awards promote best practice among caterers, manufacturers and retailers, and highlight the importance of integrity in the vegetarian market place. Your opinion helps us to set the standard so the Society can help make the vegetarian lifestyle even better!
