Vegetarian Society approval offers consumers an easily identified standard of vegetarian labelling, allowing them to recognise the difference between minimum vegetarian standards and the higher criteria associated with The Vegetarian Society approval.

The Vegetarian Society ‘Seedling Symbol’ ensures a product or meal: Is free from meat, fowl, fish or shellfish, and ingredients resulting from slaughter, is GMO free and is free from cross contamination with non vegetarian ingredients during the production process. Plus any eggs used in a product must be free range.
