Our new Xmas collection for this year – Novice and Nouvelle info below.

We have two brand new menus for this year called Novice and Nouvelle. Each has a starter, main and dessert. They each use similar ingredients such as leeks, chestnuts, oranges, raspberries, white marzipan and gorgeous flavours.

Novice

aimed at first time veggies or individuals who don’t want to spend too much time in the kitchen.

Starter

Tangy leek and ginger soup

Main

Festive fillet with orange and pomegranate sauce

Dessert

Raspberry frangipane tarts

Nouvelle

aimed at veggies who want to create a more gourmet meal, these recipes have been produced by the Cordon Vert cookery school.

Starter

Leek and chestnut purses (with ginger and red pepper relish)

Main

Carrot and cashew bare fan tart
(served on a bed of hot puy lentil and dill salad with an orange and cardamom sauce)

Dessert

Raspberry, marzipan and brandy ice cream with lemon palmiers

If you don’t have space for the veggie Xmas recipes then the two sets of recipes ‘Novice and Nouvelle’ are being made into recipe cards, which readers can get hold of by calling 0161 925 2000, the recipes are free as always and will be available from October.
