Sweet success – Best Vegetarian Ready-made Dessert

Shortlist announced

Earlier this year the Vegetarian Society launched the search to find the Best Vegetarian Ready-made Dessert. After all most people enjoy a little sweetness now and again and it’s not just veggies who want their little pots, puddings, slices or spoons of loveliness to be free from gelatine, crushed beetle or animal fat. The nominations for the awards were voted for through the charity’s website and members’ magazine. So which ready-made desserts made it onto the shortlist?

Nominations will now be reviewed by a panel of judges, the winners will be announced in mid October.

The Awards are in their eighth year and promote best practice among caterers, manufacturers and retailers, and highlight the importance of integrity in the vegetarian marketplace.
