2002 Condomania...
Make Love the Vegetarian Way
After intense and
vigorous trials here at the Vegetarian Society we are ecstatic to announce
that the clever dicks at Condomania have gone veggie crazy. We can happily
assure you that the only bit of an animal that gets into these condoms
is very much alive!
The growing number
of vegetarians and vegans in the UK will be getting excited at the
variety
and groaning with relief when they experience Condomanias full
product range. The only dilemma will be whether to go for Extra Ribbed,
Extra
Large, or whether to just get fruity with the Flavoured Selection. For
those who fancy a bit of fun there are even South Park Condoms (for
aspiring
Chefs) and Purple Ronnies for your purple ronnies!
Always be prepared
for spontaneity. Keep your personal supply of Vegetarian Society approved
condoms stocked up, give Condomania a call on 01635 874 393 or visit the
online shop at www.condomania.co.uk
The Vegetarian Societys approved
trademark was
established in 1969. Since then it has become the most widely recognised
and trusted stamp of vegetarian approval anywhere in the world.
The symbol can be found on a huge range of products, including retail
food and drinks, catering supplies, household goods, cosmetics and
toiletries.
The strength of the
symbol is based on products meeting four firm criteria: Products have
to be free of animal flesh, meat or bone stock, animal carcass fats, gelatine,
aspic or any other products resulting from slaughter. Approval will only
be granted to products or ingredients not tested on animals since 1986,
any eggs used in products must be free-range. In 1998 the criteria was
modified to exclude genetically modified organisms as these will generally
have been tested on animals.
The Society also
requires that cross contamination does not occur between vegetarian and
non-vegetarian products during food production. No other symbol gives
consumers such reassurance and inspires the trust that comes from the
Vegetarian Society approved symbol.
The Vegetarian Society,
is the oldest vegetarian organisation in the world. It offers an independent
voice to promote and provide information on vegetarianism.
The Vegetarian Society
Awards 2002, which promote
good practice in the vegetarian food and catering industries will be held
on 7 November 2002 at The Waldorf Hotel, The Strand, London.
