Suma joins forces with the Vegetarian Society for
National Vegetarian Week
19 - 25 May 2003

The Vegetarian Society is pleased to welcome Suma, one of the UK’s leading independent distributors and manufacturers of high quality vegetarian foods, as an official partner of National Vegetarian Week.

All Suma own brand products are approved by the Vegetarian Society. Suma is one of the largest co-operatives in the UK and throughout its 25 year history has endeavoured to provide a quality service to customers and a rewarding equal working environment for its workers, within a sustainable, ethical business structure.

Suma aims to create a healthier, more balanced and greener lifestyle for the future by working with the environment. The company has deep ethical and social concerns and responds to issues such as GMOs in a conscientious way. This forward thinking and positive approach makes them an ideal organisation for the Vegetarian Society to work with to promote National Vegetarian Week 2003.

The Vegetarian Society is the oldest vegetarian organisation in the world. It offers an independent voice to promote and provide information on vegetarianism.
