World Vegetarian Day – 1st October

Celebrate vegetarian food with Creative Catering
– a free resource from The Vegetarian Society

To mark World Vegetarian Day, The Vegetarian Society is launching Creative Catering, a free resource pack for caterers, chefs and hoteliers. Creative Catering aims to provide food professionals with a clear understanding of the vegetarian diet, knowledge of core vegetarian ingredients and a selection of delicious recipes that can be used as building blocks in caterers’ vegetarian repertoire.

An essential resource for every professional kitchen, Creative Catering gives useful definitions of the terms ‘vegetarian’ and ‘vegan’, and an invaluable section on vegetarian nutrition. The catering scale recipes featured show the full diversity of vegetarian cuisine, from Thai Vegetable Curry with Fragrant Rice, to Mushroom & Artichoke Tarts and Raspberry, Almond & Cinnamon Torte, recipes that will suit every cooking style and keep your customers coming back for more!

To request a free copy of Creative Catering please contact The Vegetarian Society on 0161 925 2000.
