Vegetarian Society Announces Annual Awards Shortlist in time for October’s Vegetarian Awareness Month

As Vegetarian Awareness Month gets underway in October, The Vegetarian Society will be sending out mystery shoppers and conducting secret taste tests to decide which products and services short-listed for the 2004 Vegetarian Society Awards offer the very best to vegetarian consumers.

These prestigious awards, sponsored this year by The Vegetarian Society Visa credit card in association with the Co-operative Bank, are looked to by both consumers and the food trade as a measure of excellence within the vegetarian marketplace. Vegetarian Society Chief Executive, Tina Fox, commented:

“The Awards showcase the organisations that provide vegetarians with the highest quality food, service and integrity. The magical presentation ceremony that takes place on Thursday, 28th October will be a fitting and glamorous end to Vegetarian Awareness Month.”
