Altrincham’s
Cordon Vert School of cookery is booking now for places on its Foundation
Workshop. The course runs from Monday 16th-
Friday 20th August and provides a first class grounding in vegetarian
cuisine.
Whether you are vegetarian yourself, cook for a vegetarian or are looking
for ways to ensure your family gets it’s 5 portions of fruit and
veg a day, the Foundation Workshop will give you all the information
and skills you need to create nutritious, well planned meals that the
whole family will enjoy.
Don’t miss the chance to learn the art of great cookery as expert
tutors share their professional techniques and skills. The course also
offers an opportunity to gain in-depth understanding of basic ingredients
and their uses. Knife skills, bread and pastry making, sauces, soups,
salads and dressings are all on the syllabus along with menu planning,
food presentation and a creative workshop where your new talents can
be expressed!
For those who want to take their cooking even further the Foundation
Workshop counts as 20 Credits towards the Cordon Vert Diploma, the qualification
most trusted and recognized across the vegetarian catering industry.
The Cordon Vert School accepts both residential and non-residential
