VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT SCOOPS TOP PRIZE AT
MANCHESTER FOOD AND DRINK FESTIVAL
The Vegetarian Society is delighted to hear that for the first time
ever a vegetarian restaurant has won the coveted Manchester Food and
Drink Festival 'Best Restaurant' award.
Didsbury restaurant, Greens, fought off carnivorous competition at last
nights awards ceremony, proving that veggie food really does satisfy
the most sophisticated tastes. The well known local eaterie is also short-listed
for the forthcoming Vegetarian Society Awards in the Best Gourmet Vegetarian
Restaurant category. Winners will be announced on October 28th at a special
ceremony in London.
