Nottingham
fast-food business ‘V1’ victorious
at
Vegetarian Society Awards
Nottingham’s innovative Vegetarian fast food restaurant ‘V1’ lived
up to its name last night at the Vegetarian Society Awards.
V1, run by local business woman, Tamsin Evans, beat tough competition
from London’s Red Veg, Brighton based Wai Kika Moo Kau and Manchester’s
V2Go to return to Nottingham victorious after winning the accolade of ‘Best
provision for vegetarians in a fast-food establishment’.
Tina Fox, Chief Executive of The Vegetarian Society Awards commented:
“
V1 has really set the benchmark for fast food businesses looking to capture
the imagination of the vegetarian market. They offer a fantastic range
of tasty, food on the go, which doesn’t compromise the principles
of healthy eating.”
The prestigious award was presented to a glowing Tamsin at a glamorous
ceremony in London’s Magic Circle last night.
