Celebrate Vegetarian Cuisine with a fantastic gourmet
menu from The Vegetarian Society
Vegetarian
cuisine is on the up! As more and more people embrace a meat-free lifestyle,
vegetarian food becomes more inventive,
more delicious and more exciting than ever. To mark the rise of the vegetarian
gourmet, chefs from The Vegetarian Society’s Cordon Vert School have
come up with a sensational seasonal menu that makes a meal out of modern
ingredients and unusual flavours.
We suggest that you
start your meal with a simply delicious Artichoke and Sunblush Tomato
Tart*. Served
on a bed of minted rocket, this is the
perfect dish to arouse the senses before taking things to the next level.
Your guests will be stunned by the unusual combination of flavours and
the visual impact of the main course – a Mediterranean Tian of Asparagus
and Aromatic Almond Quinoa*. Served with a Piquant Pomegranate and Orange
Dressing*, this dish is sure to keep foodie friends excited for weeks!
Finally round things off with the soft and indulgent flavours of Caramel
Banana and Berry Brioche with Zested Marscapone*. This special meal is
truly manna from vegetarian heaven.
If you’re more interested in inspiration for a tasty family tea,
The Vegetarian Society has a fantastic store cupboard dish for you. Our
Tortilla Beany Bake* is quick to assemble and will be loved by the whole
family. Luscious layers of crème fraiche, spinach and flageolet
beans, flour tortillas and tomato sauce, topped off with grated cheese
make this a substantial yet healthy meal that looks as good as it tastes.
