Veg Kebabs
If you use wooden sticks soak them in cold water for at least half an hour first. This will help prevent the sticks from burning from the heat of the fire.

Ingredients
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 courgette
1 tin pineapple chunks
1 red onion

Marinade
2 cloves garlic crushed
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp soy sauce

Method
Cut all of the vegetables into chunks. Thread them onto the kebab sticks.
Mix the marinade ingredients in a cup then drizzle it onto the kebabs.
Place onto the barbecue for 10 minutes.

Safety First
Having a barbecue can be lots of fun particularly when the weather is good. However, it can also be dangerous. Make sure you are always supervised by an adult. Always have a bucket of water to hand in case of accidents. Cook on the coals when they have died down. Enjoy your food and have fun.
