Valentine Dinner Date
Plates to share and pots of love
22 January 2012
Are you in the mood for love? You will be! Share Cordon Vert’s sensual valentine dinner with the one you love and let romance reign. Find the recipes online at www.vegsoc.org
A nest of noodles with sesame oil, seeds and lemon juice is your base. Add in an exotic mix of mushrooms flavoured with garlic, ginger and paprika. Top with tasty crisp tofu hearts. Serve with that old aphrodisiac asparagus, dipped gently into homemade hollandaise and succulent roasted vine tomatoes.
Follow with our luxurious sweet pots of love - made using a bottle of champagne with a couple of glasses left over to drink (you’ll need strawberries and an avocado too). Arm yourself with spoons and dive into a chocolate pot, champagne jelly, a slice of strawberry tart and even fizzy champagne sorbet.
The Cordon Vert vegetarian cookery school created this meat-free Valentine Dinner Date menu. Cordon Vert teaches both the general public and professionals the many aspects of vegetarian cookery. Find out more at www.cordonvert.co.uk or follow the school on Twitter @cordonvert or Facebook, Cordon Vert Cookery School. Call for a course brochure on 0161 925 2000.
