As a charity with no government funding, there are so many easy and fun ways that you can raise money for us. Here is just a selection of our own ideas below. If any of them spark your creativity, we'd love to hear about it. You can let us know what your plans are for a fundraising event by emailing email@example.com .
Walk it, jog it or run it - fantastic fundraising challenges in 2015
We are so lucky to have supporters like you who will run, jog and walk for the Vegetarian Society. With more challenges for 2015, why don't you have a look at how you can push yourself to the limit - all in aid of the Vegetarian Society.
Do you think you have what it takes to be the next Mary Berry? Can you tell the difference between a Turnover and a Tiramisu? A bake sale or sponsored bake-off may be the ideal way for you to have fun and raise money for the Vegetarian Society.

Raffles and hampers
Contact local businesses to see if they will donate some delicious veggie food to make up a hamper, then raffle this off. You might also be able to request some free tickets to a show or a meal voucher from a local veggie friendly restaurant or shop to add interest. This is a great thing to do as part of any event you’re planning.

Set your own goal
Run a marathon, climb a mountain or simply walk to and from work for a week. If you fancy getting active, why not set yourself a challenge and raise funds for the Vegetarian Society along the way?
David Fawcett (pictured here) recently ran a half marathon for the Vegetarian Society after we helped him reach his goal of going meat-free. He raised a fantastic £360 – just think what you could do!
